1K a year The Springfield Cardinals are currently seeking candidates for its Account Executive, Ticket Sales position.
This is an entry-level sales position, responsible for generating revenue through new group ticket sales and season membership sales.
The Account Executive position focuses on prospecting and developing on-going relationships with the citizens and businesses of the community to introduce and execute group sales and season ticket opportunities.
This position is also charged with developing and presenting promotional and marketing programs to potential customers as a primary means of selling.
This person will also be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all potential customers and fans throughout the entire calendar year.
This position reports directly to the Ticket Sales Manager and is responsible for managing existing accounts and building new business through, but not limited to, sale of group tickets, season tickets, and mini-plans.
This position has a flexible schedule and must have nights, weekends, and holidays availability.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Responsible for maintaining current accounts (Season Tickets/Groups) Responsible for selling new accounts (Season Tickets/Groups) Responsible for generating and contacting new leads (Season Tickets/Groups) Responsible for representing organization at various events Additional responsibilities as assigned to assist in the success of the Ticket Sales department and the organization Education and Experience Required:
Associate's Degree in Sports Management or Marketing; or a combination of experience and education 1-2
years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level 1-2
years of experience in sales; preferably ticket sales 1-2
years of experience in customer service 1-2
years of experience in corporate sales & marketing Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field; or a combination of experience and education 3
years of experience in sports industry at college level and/or minor/major league level.

years of experience working in ticket sales; preferably baseball ticket sales 3
years of experience in customer service 3
years of experience working in corporate sales & marketing 1-2
years of experience in working in client/account acquisition.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
