Registered Nurse RN

RESPONSIBILITES:
Follow up with medications e-scribed to pharmacy daily.
Notify patients of their co-pays.
Obtain prior authorizations, if needed.
Pick up medications from the pharmacy, if needed.
Stock medication inventory.
Notify providers when medications need reordered.
Destroy non-narcotic medications per protocol.
Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the RN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals.
Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Prefer one year of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current RN license as required by state.
First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
