Growth opportunities Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tire pressure - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Experience:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a warehouse or courier setting - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and ability to operate them confidently - Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws - Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate destinations efficiently - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Note:
Experience with tractor-trailers or route driving is a plus but not required.
