, is the company's largest manufacturing plant and home to about 600 team members.
When you join the team here, you'll be helping to produce some of the most iconic cereal brands, including Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, PEBBLES cereal, Grape-Nuts and Honeycomb cereal.
The Battle Creek plant is also unique as it is home to the original barn where C.
W.
Post started the Postum cereal company in 1895.
The Battle Creek team has deep community roots, supporting the city's Cereal Festival, local elementary schools, and hosting several on-site volunteer events throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Starting Wage:
$20.
62 per Hour Operate and monitor production equipment in a GMP environment in a manner that supports all personal safety and food safety practices.
Record production data required for performing quality checks, measuring waste, evaluating downtime or production efficiency, or other pertinent data as required.
Complete job duties in an efficient manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality and environmental practices.
Maintain clean work area and perform sanitation tasks for cleaning production equipment by following GMP and food safety requirements.

Qualifications:
The qualified, successful candidate will possess the following:
Education:
Requires a High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Availability:
Must be willing and able to work any shift including overtime and be available 7 days/week.
Skills:
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in team-based environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work scheduled shifts, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking for extended periods of time; capable of repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with weight ranges up to 50 pounds; ability to perform repeated twisting, bending and reaching; exposure to hot and/or humid environments, working on ladders and confined spaces.
