25 an hour Summary of Responsibilities Position involves the operation of ride on Zamboni style cleaning machine, and performing of custodial work in industrial areas and other facility areas as needed in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities To maintain the equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines Performs activities in support of spill prevention, control and countermeasures Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light bulbs and fixtures Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas Removes waste from trash receptacles throughout facility and exterior areas and transports to exterior dumpsters Remove debris from outside areas of building and lot Use cleaning supplies and equipment May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks Collect and recycle oil and fluids from machinery throughout the facility To have the ability to work weekends and over time as requested Perform other duties as assigned Clean common areas including break rooms, hall ways, and restrooms
