THIS JOB IS FOR A MICU UNIT MANAGER
MICU manager is 8-5 most days but remains flexible to meet the needs of the unit. Routine flexing to see the night shift is an expectation. Will be discussed in interview
Flexible contract length. Will discuss during interview.
1 Year management experience required.
Will consider strong house manager only if vent experienced.
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS (AHA) required
NIH required
Must be available entire week of orientation.
20 bed unit specializing in care of patients with life-threatening conditions such as cardiogenic shock, heart failure, liver/renal failure, respiratory failure, neurological conditions, and sepsis. Critical Care uses a multidisciplinary approach and state-of-the-art equipment to continuously monitor and treat complex cases. The Critical Care Unit also encompasses the Progressive Care Unit which is an intermediary step between ICU and a med/surge floor. Nurses in CCU enjoy using a great team effort to ensure each patient receives excellent care.
