DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead IMDS / SoC approval activity from request and submittal through approval.
Lead IMDS / SoC system Improvement Activities.
Maintain IMDS and SoC databases.
Approve supplier and customer IMDS / SoC submissions and facilitate IMDS / SoC submission to the customer.
Review supplier and customer IMDS / SoC submissions for accuracy and content.
Provides supplier and related in-house departments clear direction as to the requirements leading up to IMDS / SoC submission and approval.
Review and approve customer IMDS / SoC to gain customer approval.
Other Activities will include:
New Product Introduction Part and Container Labeling per customer requirements Customer PPAP.
Book Creation through gathering evidence from departments throughout DMMI.
Assist Engineers by Creating Customer Inspection Standards.
Submission DMMI Lab work requests related to New product Testing.
Perform in-house process and control plan audits.
Detailed Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have High School Diploma / GED and 4 years of related experience OR Associate degree in related field.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High level of analytical and communication skills.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint), Enovia Materials Compliance Central (MCC), and International Material Data System (IMDS), Substance of Concern (SoC) knowledge and experience.
Customer and Supplier IMDS Approval knowledge and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 35 pounds-lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds with a list assist, work on the production line for short periods of time, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, frequent phone use and typing. The work environment will vary from an open office setting to a production environment.
