Bronson Methodist Hospital has an immediate opening for a Speech & Language Pathologist in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Master of Science or Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program with ESB certification or equivalent and three to six months of experience in the hospital or elsewhere.Clinical experience in specific job sets is preferred.Must hold or be in the process of receiving an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence(CCC).An annual review will occur to determine that this certification has been maintained.An individual providing speech-language or hearing services not holding a current ASHA CCC will be supervised by a staff member who meets the requirements for the ASHA CCC in the areas in which services are provided.Licensed through the State of Michigan for Speech- Language Pathology as of 2013.
Position will be based at the LIRC M, W, Th (8:30-5pm). Clients will be primarily adults.
Weekends and holidays as per the need of the department. Weekends will be covering acute care in downtown Kalamazoo.
