Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Possesses thorough knowledge of systems is required as well as a general understanding of military organizational structure and command and control operations. Applies extensive knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Distribution Standard System (DSS) processing components, technical infrastructure, and software foundations is required. Maintains a thorough understanding of operating systems, network communications and overall system architecture. Demonstrates skills in systems analysis is required to function as a technical authority requiring the application of new theories, concepts, and technological developments to problems or requirements not susceptible to treatment by existing methods, technologies, or procedures. Applies attention to detail in reviewing documents and providing feedback on proposed solutions to complex technical problems regarding security vulnerabilities, log analysis, network communications and cyber compliance. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
