Senior Manager, Information Technology Infrastructure
As the IT Infrastructure Sr. Manager, in Oak Brook, IL or Battle Creek, MI, you will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure services and components (networks, servers, storage, backups, databases, DR, etc.) that are the IT foundation for the Kellogg North America region. You will manage a group of Engineers and Business Analysts to deploy technology initiatives. You will also partner with vendors and other IT groups to successfully execute business and technology projects, while collaborating on both capital and expense budget management.
HERE S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU LL BE DOING
- Responsible for the deployment and execution of IT Infrastructure related initiatives for North America
- Collaborate with other IT groups to define scope, resources, requirements and timelines for KNA initiatives
- Provide input to IT Strategy team on future technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate on the definition and administration of capital and operating budget. (Budget Management)
- Supervise and manage a team of Engineers and Business Analysts. (People Management)
- Partners with external vendors to understand technology trends and deploy KNA initiatives. (Vendor Management)
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED and extensive related experience
- Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of Infrastructure technology (Networks, Servers, Storage, Databases, Disaster Recovery)
- Proven experience leading and executing the implementation of large technology solutions
- Experience working on large, complex projects with a proven track record of delivering results
- Experience in leading cross functional teams in a multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all groups and levels; must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners or vendors in remote locations
- Strong business acumen, analytical aptitude, project management skills, problem-solving skills and capability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly
- Experience developing, implementing and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and standards to ensure IT delivers value to the enterprise
- Experience managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels for outstanding performance (3 direct reports)
- Financial acumen and management skills specific to project budgets and people cost
- Vendor management experience, inclusive of negotiation related to cost, scope, and timing utilizing staff augmentation or fix bid models
- Experience managing or building alignment with global IT teams
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor s Degree in a related field
- PMP, Agile (CSM, ACP, SAFe), similar Technical Certification
- Experience managing one or more technology areas within the infrastructure and workplace functional area (compute/hosting, storage, network, EUC, unified collaboration, etc)
- Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
