As a Transitional Production Employee, you will help prepare world-class products for shipment in Kellogg Company s state-of-the-art baking and production facilities.

The Battle Creek Plant is where it all started and we re now looking for new partners to help continue our tradition of making great cereals.
Join our team and help be a part of getting Raisin Bran Crunch, Special K, Bite Sized Shredded Mini-Wheats and more to store shelves and on to tables across the country.

HERE S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

  • Packing with Care Prepare our finished products in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures.
    You ll take particular care in high-quality packing of finished goods.
    We want to see your passion for precision and vision for success!
  • Operating Machinery Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines.
    Your talent for all things technical will ensure they are set up properly, working well and producing quality products.
  • Managing Machine Performance Ensure machines are stocked and working at full capacity.
    As a meticulous worker, you ll take care to keep them well-maintained as you perform periodic checks while inspecting our products and packaging
  • Following Best Practices Adhere to good manufacturing practices as you prepare equipment for production.
    You ll use all the right safety precautions as you support our efforts to create better mornings and better breakfasts for our consumers.
  • Mixing in the Bake Shop You may know it as processing, but you ll be responsible for getting our food started by insuring the right mix of ingredients are used in the cereals our customers know and love.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Industrial or mechanical background
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift a maximum of fifty pounds at or above waist
  • Flexible with work scheduling as well as overtime and holidays
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
